This notice explains how information you give us through this website is used when you make an enquiry or use our document portal.
Who is responsible
Kalè Capital is responsible for the information you submit through this website. Contact privacy@kalecapital.co.uk about anything in this notice.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and telephone number.
- The property and finance information you choose to enter.
- Your consent choices, with the date and wording version.
- A one-way hash of your IP address and your browser user-agent, used only to prevent abuse of the forms.
- Any documents you later choose to upload, if that service is available to you.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and organise it for review.
- To keep records required of a regulated business.
- To protect the forms from automated abuse.
- To send you updates, only if you separately asked us to. You can withdraw that at any time.
Our lawful bases are your consent for updates, and our legitimate interests in responding to your enquiry and protecting the service.
Who we share it with
Our hosting, database and file-storage providers process the information on our behalf under contract. Once regulated services begin, information may also be shared with the principal firm responsible for advice, and with lenders only where you ask us to proceed. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
Retention periods are provisional and require Connect and data protection approval. No automated deletion is enabled. As a working position we expect to keep enquiry records for around 24 months, and records relating to regulated cases for at least 6 years. No automated deletion is running yet, so ask us if you want your information removed sooner.
Security
Documents are stored in private access-controlled storage and sent over encrypted connections.
We are not accepting identity or financial documents through this website until file scanning and the related security review are complete.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, ask for it to be transferred, or withdraw consent. Use the data request form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
